"It's not what you ride, it's who you serve. That's the motto the Carolina Faith Riders stand by when they head out on the highway to minister the word of God." Click here to read this full article recently published in the Max Entertainment Magazine.

We wish to thank the Carolina Faith Riders who helped us with our project on April 14, 2007. This was an event to help obtain a service dog for an Irag or Afghanistan veteran. The riders from Mud Creek Baptist Church, in Hendersonville took this project and showed us what to do, took their time to ride and helped us with all we needed to do. Thanks again for all their time and effort and despite the weather we did very well. Thanks to them some well deserving veteran will benefit from this. Thanks Guys!

Fellow Faith Riders, I know as a motorcycle ministry we are supposed to do things in the summer. God had different plans for the Hopewell Baptist chapter of Faith Riders. We heard of a 75 year old man who was living in a barn is Great Falls S.C. so we went to see what we could do about insulating this barn. When we got there we were amazed that anybody could live in such a way. This made us think of third world situations and it was right in our back door. The barn looked like it was going to fall down. It was well over 100 years old. We realized that there was nothing we could do about insulating it in fear that it would in deed fall, so we had about $1300 and we went out and beat the bushes to see what we could get donated to build him a house. Now everyone knows you cant build a house with $1300 but we also prayed about it and God came thru in a big way.

We called about a building permit and the first thing they needed was a septic tank permit. He does not have running water, and it was not his land. So the owner gave us permission to build and the permit office told us to do what we had to do and they would turn their head. That was the first blessing. It was December 10th when we first went to see this place, January 17th we had enough donated to us that we built him a 16x20 one room fully furnished, well insulated, with enough electricity to run all or his appliances. We had about 50 volunteers and we erected his new home in one day. Now he still doesn’t have running water so we had to build him an outhouse as well. God made this happen and to him we give all the glory.

Carolina Faith Riders is just over a year old and the Lord has already done some pretty amazing stuff. Below are just a few stories of what's been happening. If you have a story, send it to us so we can share it with the rest of the group.

"We had our Jesus Birthday Bash on the December 10th. We had about 125 bikes with over 200 bikers on the run. More importantly, we had that many in the church after the run. The witnessing opportunies were tremendous, and one of our members, Matt Hovis, was saved. Many other bikers heard the Good News of Jesus with a special biker service lead by our Paster Marc Redding. If it sounds like we are fired up, we are. Things are happening that only the Lord could bring about and we are just letting Him lead the way."
